Over here at FF, we are looking back on 2014 and are thankful for the many burpees, pushups and GOALS that were eeked out in the wee hours of the Charlotte morning in parking lots, your living room, Kathryn’s Garage or in your own driveway.
This past year we have had the incredible fortune of being part of this building of small, but solid and strong, fitness community. Many of our friends (yes you!) have overcome injuries, set PRs, embarked on your personal health journey, challenged your nutritional habits and challenged your body in ways unimaginable until YOU DID IT. We are thankful for you, for your bravery and for the opportunity you have afforded us to be involved in your life.
We are looking forward to the year to come, the new relationships we will build and the old ones we will keep. We will be ever upping the ante in our own lives and resetting when our one step forward brings us two back. And our sincere hope is that we do it all in community, which at it’s essence is what Four Fit is all about. Our joy is in the inbetween. In the supporting each other to bring forth our best selves. To evaluate and re-evaluate our goal setting, accomplishing and falling short. As we look back over our year and contemplate the months to come we aim to dream and anticipate what is possible rather than resolutely embarking on self improvement. For this we love a good goal. Last year about this time we posted on this very topic and again it seems timely. For now we are kicking off 2015 strong with our 8th Session of Bootcamp and a January Nutrition Clean Eating Challenge. We would love for you to join us in any of our endeavors or just keep on being part of this community from the wings.
Because if you are reading this, then you are already a part of us. We will be toasting to you this New Year’s Eve, celebrating what is and looking forward to the year to come.
